The unit utilizes to charge a deep cycle maintenance free batteries. In the event that the PB unit detects that the supply voltage has been interrupted, a switch over relay will switch on the inverter/UPS instantaneously. The speed of the switch over will ensure that computers, television sets or any other appliances can continue with operation without any shutdown or delay. This feature makes the PB Unit unique as till registers, computers, television sets and various other equipment’s life expectancy is drastically shortened without adhering to proper recommended shutdown or switching off or shutdown procedures. Our stand-by power supply units consists of the following: A powder coated enclosure on wheels that is extremely robust, deep cycle maintenance free batteries, an electronic battery charger, a software driven electronic invertor, a control panel, cooling fan and lightning/surge protection unit. The PB Unit carries a one year guarantee against faulty components and workmanship, and workmanship, excluding miss-use and abuse, damage due to extreme overloading. The unit will alert the user of overloading by means of a visual and audible warning.
